The September OAK FOREST AMATEUR RADIO CLUB face-to-face meeting has been cancelled due to Covid-19 social distancing directives (no surprise). We've been notified that all public meetings at the TranStar facility are cancelled until further notice. We're planning to hold the 9/26 Zoom video conference starting at 9:00 am. Club members and guests will receive an email invitation to the Zoom meeting in the evening of 9/25. Checkin via the 2m repeater is not required but we'll be monitoring to assist you if you are having trouble starting the Zoom session. Following the normal club business, I will start a presentaion, subject TBD.

- In our August Zoom meeting, Barry (KG5IRR) shared his presentation about interfacing rigs to computers from the hardware perspective. His presentation can be found at the Downloads link. Also presented was another of Dave Casler's YouTubes demonstrating QSO's using CW. It can be found here. Our meeting ran kind of long and we didn't have to time to watch Anthony Luscre's (K8ZT) presentation from the Ham Expo earlier this month entitled "Having Fun with Morse". It can be found here.
- License exam testing has been a challenge but we've had a some success in continuing to offer this service to the community. Here are some photos of our prior testing events. Also, see the "Exam Sessions" link above for more information, including directions to our outdoor testing site.
